These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of fixitbeirut.com and the handyman, maintenance, and renovation services provided by Fix It (“we,” “us,” “Fix It”). By engaging our services or using our website, you agree to these Terms.
Fix It provides residential and commercial handyman and maintenance work across Beirut, Greater Beirut, and Mount Lebanon, including but not limited to:
The specific scope of any single project will be defined in the written quote we provide before work begins.
For most jobs we charge a flat inspection fee of $20, payable at the time of the site visit. This fee covers our technician’s time to assess the work and prepare a written quote. If you proceed with the job, the $20 is fully credited toward the final invoice.
All quotes are valid for thirty (30) days unless otherwise stated. Quotes are based on the work visible and described at the time of inspection. If hidden issues or additional scope are discovered during the work, we will inform you and provide a revised quote before continuing.
Small repairs and single-visit jobs: payment is due upon completion of the work, by cash, bank transfer, or other agreed method.
Larger projects (renovations, multi-day jobs): we typically use milestone payments tied to project phases (for example: deposit, mid-project, near completion, and final). Exact milestones and amounts will be set out in your written quote.
Materials and special orders: may require a deposit before purchase, especially for non-returnable or custom items.
Late payments may incur a reasonable administrative fee and may pause further work on the project until brought current.
We stand behind our work. If something we installed or repaired isn’t right within a reasonable period after completion, contact us and we will return to fix it at no extra cost, subject to the following:
Manufacturer warranties on materials, fixtures, and appliances we install are subject to the manufacturer’s own terms and are passed through to you.
If you need to cancel or reschedule a confirmed visit, please notify us by WhatsApp or phone as early as possible — ideally at least 24 hours in advance. We understand that life happens and will work with you to find a better time.
Cancellations made on the day of a scheduled visit, or no-shows, may incur a small call-out fee equivalent to the inspection fee, to cover the technician’s allocated time.
To allow us to deliver quality work efficiently, we ask that you:
We take reasonable care in all the work we do. To the extent permitted by Lebanese law:
None of the above limits any liability that cannot be excluded under applicable Lebanese law.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Lebanon. We aim to resolve any disputes promptly and amicably. If a dispute cannot be resolved through direct discussion, the courts of Beirut shall have jurisdiction.
We may update these Terms from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page indicates when the Terms were last revised. The version in effect for your project is the one in force on the date your written quote is issued.
